The Ocean is a place of secrets,
Enveloping your possessions in with a seal.
It doesnt know what you drop-
Just eats it all up
Laying at its feet,
Worn boots and putrid fish
And old mens business suits
It holds the key to finding that odd sock and your car keys
Its dark with its ways of burglary it doesnt knock at your door.
It politely comes through your toilet and sink
And that glass of water you didnt drink.
It is your unmade bed that you forgot to clean
With its pillow of rocks, sheet of waves
As boats sleep on it and crumple the cover
And sea life frolics with its lover
Ocean the lucky dip of life
Reach down and collect your prize
Explore it and find the unknown
Put your ear to the cold water, hear the whales drone
